                    Scott Si is a Principal Lecturer and Consultant with the Digital Products and Platforms Practice at NUS-ISS.
He has over a decade of experience in product management, venture building, financial technology, and strategy consulting across Asia-Pacific. Most recently, he was the regional lead for digital consumer platforms and propositions at Schroder Investment Management—spearheading initiatives in robo-advisory, conversational AI, and fund distribution platforms across nine key markets. Prior to that, he was VP of digital partnerships and product management at HSBC China, where he co-created pioneering product offerings with ecosystem partners in insurance, healthcare, and wealth management.
Previously, Scott was Product Marketing Lead at Coins—an e-wallet platform acquired by Gojek in 2019—and Head of Product at educational robotics startup Plobot. He began his career as a Research Analyst at Thomson Reuters and later as a Senior Strategy Analyst at L'Atelier BNP Paribas, advising on market entry, user experience, and digital transformation projects for clients like Michelin, L'Oreal, and the BNP Paribas Group.
With a passion for building great product experiences, Scott is a certified Scaled Agile Practitioner who shares his perspectives on emerging technology through his articles for Tech in Asia and his blog Slowframe. 
He received a Master of Science in Applied Neuroscience from King’s College London, where he conducted research on the impact of AI systems on cognition and learning processes. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Ateneo de Manila University and was a Confucius Institute scholar with the General Advanced Program in Economics at Fudan University.
